As part of the Guidance Curriculum at Fox Hill, we are able to work with small groups of students to help them develop specific skills. These groups are formed in order to give the students an opportunity to share ideas with other students in a non-threatening environment. Small groups will either meet during lunch (Lunch Bunch) or during their intervention block, a period of time during the day when no new curriculum is taught so students may receive various services.
In an effort to build trust and rapport, the information that the students share in the group will be kept confidential unless there is a threat or report of physical harm to oneself or someone else. However, students are welcome (and generally willing and eager!) to share with you anything that they choose to discuss during our groups. They are welcome to give me permission to share with you as well!
If you are interested in having your son or daughter participate in small group counseling, please do not hesitate to contact Jessica or Kim.
